Since we launched Art Helps Heaps, we’ve undertaken six fundraising projects, each one a unique collaboration with extraordinary artists from around the world. Every project transforms creativity into meaningful support, connecting art lovers, collectors, and artists to raise awareness and funds for families living with rare diseases. Below is a behind-the-scenes look at each project - the people, the products, and the impact they’ve made along the way.

Project One | June 2022
Project One marked our first leap into turning creativity into action. With the support of 43 incredible artists, we launched a series of limited-edition posters that captured their vision - and the imagination of our supporters - while raising funds for Rare Voices Australia.

Project Two | May 2023
Project Two brought art into everyday life. Collaborating with 14 artists, we created a series of artist travel bags that were functional, stylish, and infused with creative energy. Every bag purchased helped support the psychological wellbeing of parents navigating the challenges of rare disease diagnoses via Through The Unexpected.

Project Three | October 2023
Project Three transformed wearable art into a platform for impact. Creating a collection of limited edition artist t-shirt, each design reflected the unique style of its artist while channelling support to Genetic Alliance, helping fund research and advocacy for rare disease communities.

Project Four | May 2024
Project Four celebrated creativity and leisure and saw Art Helps Heaps collaborate with friends Slow Tide on a limited-edition collection of beach towels. Combining artistic vision with practical design, this project supported Creativity Explored and the artists who make creative spaces accessible to all.

Project Five | October 2024
Project Five returned to wearable art with a lineup of internationally recognised and emerging talents. Creating another collection of limited edition artist t-shirts the project contributed to funding research, medical care, and family support through Jeans For Genes.

Project Six | April 2026
Project Six is our latest celebration of global collaboration. Going back to where it first started, we have created a limited-edition poster from 39 of our favourite artists who showcase diverse creativity while supporting Through The Unexpected, strengthening the psychological wellbeing of families facing rare disease diagnoses.
